If you are on the broadcast or media production side of the industry, you probably receive hundreds of new releases each week. Unfortunately it isn’t yet possible to receive all these submissions directly into DISCO (unless they are send direct to your inbox) but there is a relatively straight forward way to batch download and then import with the bulk uploader.

IN THIS ARTICLE

Download, Organize & Bulk Upload

• As you receive new music emails open the links to the music files.
• Any DISCO playlists should be Saved to DISCO - they will appear in your personal DISCO inbox immediately.
• All the other links (WeTransfer, Box, Dropbox, Soundcloud, etc) have to be downloaded and unpacked.

Compile all downloads

• Create a new folder on your hard drive “New Releases” add folders inside it for each week’s new music

• Drag/add all the downloaded, unpacked folders into the relevant weekly folder.

• Check the downloaded folder names and contents.
• Add any useful info into the folder name since this becomes the playlist name in DISCO.
• Including the name of the company or person who sent new releases to you with the date might be helpful to see the future.

Run the DISCO Uploader
