Channels are useful for organizing and sharing everything you are working on. Use Channels as root folders and divide them up with nested folder structures - like a catalog or all current TV show projects, new releases, and productions etc.

Basic Channel Structure Guidelines

• Create Channels for large concepts like a Catalog or Current Projects or New Music etc and divide the Channel into folders to hold the relevant playlists.
• Don’t create hundreds of Channels i.e. one Channel for every artist in a catalog - this would fill up the Sidebar very quickly and be very difficult to manage.

Create a Catalog Channel

• Create a Channel to organize your Catalog
• Add a folder for each artist/composer/producer
• Upload their albums, EPs, media assets etc into Playlists and add them to the appropriate folder in the Channel.
